Project – Horticulture Trade Enhancement and Certification in Rwanda

International Economics is leading a consortium to support the Rwanda Private Sector Federation (RPSF) to improve exports, competitiveness and market access of Rwanda’s horticulture products. The project, funded by the ACP-EU TBT Programme in Brussels involves: (1) a situation analysis and needs assessment of the horticulture producers and exports; (2) capacity building and trainings for local service providers and trainers from National trade-related organisations on food safety and quality, good agriculture practices, export quality management system, and access to markets; and (3) trainers coaching to small-scale farmers able to apply for the Global G.A.P. certification.
