About Zahraa
Zahraa provides support to the consultancy team carrying out research and preparing presentations linked to political economy issues in international trade. She also undertakes project management tasks.
Prior to joining International Economics Consulting, Zahraa worked in the Political, Press and Information Section (PPI) of the European Union Delegation to the Republic of Mauritius and the Republic of Seychelles where her main duties consisted of analysing and drafting reports on the political, strategic and socio-economic developments in Mauritius, Seychelles and the Indian Ocean region. She also gained experience conducting research on public policy and legislation for political parties in Mauritius. Prior to this, during her time at the High Commission for the People’s Republic of Bangladesh in Mauritius, Zahraa assisted in the drafting of political and media reports on relevant developments in Mauritius, Seychelles, Comoros and Madagascar.
Zahraa graduated with a BSc in Politics and International Relations from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
