About Andras
Andras is an experienced Trade Negotiator, Researcher and Consultant providing TRTA (Trade Related Technical Assistance) to developing and transitional economy countries. Andras has held leading roles as Senior Adviser on trade policy, trade negotiations and international trade and investment law for Governments, businesses and Multilateral Donor funded projects in more than 20 countries, including as Head of Hungary’s Permanent Mission to the WTO; Senior Expert on services, trade and competition at the OECD, Senior Expert for the Vietnamese Government in the implementation of the ASEAN Comprehensive Investment Agreement (ACIA) and Vietnam’s participation to ASEAN Economic Community; advisor to the Government of Vanuatu to prepare WTO membership and design post-WTO accession; and senior expert for the International Trade Centre and within the framework of technical assistance projects in Bangladesh, Egypt, Indonesia, Mauritius, Malawi, and Papua New Guinea.

He is on the WTO Indicative List of Governmental and Non-Governmental dispute settlement Panelists as an expert on trade in goods and trade in services.

Andras graduated with a M.Sc in Economics with specialisation in International Trade from Corvinus University, Budapest, Hungary.
