International Economics is conducting a final evaluation of the EU-Sri Lanka Trade Related Assistance Project, as part of a consortium with DT Global under the EC Framework Contract Lot 2. The project aims to increase the trade competitiveness of Sri Lankan Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) in regional and European Union (EU) markets.

The main objectives of this evaluation are to provide the relevant services of the EU, and interested stakeholders with, i) an overall independent assessment of the past performance of the project paying particular attention to its results measured against its expected objectives and the reasons underpinning such results; and ii) key lessons learned, conclusions and related recommendations in order to assess the value of further funding and recommendations on the possible orientation of future actions.
