International Economics assisted in the design of support missions and delivery of policy advice to key Ministries in Myanmar, in the areas of Trade, Macroeconomics and Statistics. The objective of the project was to increase the income of producers and exporters in selected sectors, in selected priority developing countries through the creation of more competitive sectors, ultimately contributing to sustainable economic development.

The main outputs included, developing a more comprehensive and refined project document (project plan) for implementation of one sector development project for one priority sector; and programming and project design to facilitate the design of the project proposal.
