- Countries are highlighted from lightest to darkest according to increasing severity of impact.
- Users can identify trends by viewing the progression of cases given for corresponding dates over the previous seven days.
- Hover over a country to reveal the number of confirmed cases.
- Click on a country to obtain further statistics.
- A filter is also available to single out data for cases classified as confirmed or death.
What does this dashboard tell us?
- As of 12 March 2022, the world death rate was at 2% and the vaccination rate at 63.5%. The United States still had the highest number of confirmed cases with 78.9 million cases followed by India with 42.9 million cases.
- The Oceania continent had a total of 4 million confirmed cases up to 12 March 2022 and a relatively low death rate of 0.5% which can be explained by their high vaccination rate, the highest among the other continents.
